Never a Dull Day with Kris & Amy!!!

So Amy and I were back at Monticello's in Portland today -
unloading, decorating, watering, rearranging and cleaning.
One of the best things about our trips to Portland are the
hours of brainstorming we do during the car rides (when Amy's not napping).
You should hear some of the awesome ideas we have come up with!
Our newest idea may just surprise you though...
we have such a great time with our big "Barn Space" at the Garden Show -
we love it so much that we got to thinking,
we kinda miss our store...
we've been semi-retired for about 75 days now - that's long enough, isn't it???
We've been literally looking for months for the perfect space
for our next adventure - and as fate would have it, we heard about an available
building we LOVE in a darling little town not far from where
our store used to be...
So, without further ado (drum-roll please),
WE ARE OPENING ANOTHER STORE!

Are we gluttons for punishment or what??

We are moving to 880 Main Street in BUCKLEY, Washington!
(The former Keepsakes location.)
It is an old gas station built in the 1920's and we are overflowing with ideas!!
Keep watching for the latest.
At this time it looks like we'll be open for business sometime in June -
with our Grand Opening the weekend of June 30th. But remember, between now and then you can see our fun fabulous finds at the Ruffles & Rust Show in Monroe Mothers' Day Weekend and Farm Chicks the first weekend of June!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS & TELL YOUR FRIENDS
Today's Country
FARM & Frills
is coming to Buckley
and we couldn't be more excited!!!

How does your garden show grow???

Back to Monticello's I go! The first weekend of the
Spring Show was crazy busy so I had lots of fixin' up to do.

Amy stayed home to take care
of a friend today so I was on my own...

But I had help from our good friend, Mindy Hill!
THANKS so much for being my travelin' buddy today!!

I love the fabulous light in our space - we are so lucky!
And today it really looked like Spring - FINALLY.
Even after arriving home filthy, exhausted and aching all over
it is so worth it!
Hope you get a chance to check out this beautiful show ~
it truly is breathtaking.

Monticello's Mania

Once again Amy and I were up early and on the road Wednesday morning - headed to Monticello's in Portland. Three hours, one fill up and Subway stop later we arrived...

Shortly after we unloaded the truck and trailer this is what our space looked like...
it was a slow start!
But we collected ourselves and put it into high gear. A couple hours later it looked more like

this
and this
and THIS!!
So wham-bam-thank you ma'am and we were headed back home!
It was a whirlwind of a day and we wish we could be there come Friday morning when the doors open and the craziness begins. Maybe next time!!
If you get a chance, be sure to plan a trip to Portland between now and the end of May to check out the most wonderful mall full of our fun and fabulous friends!
See the Monticello link on the sidebar.

Spring has Sprung - A LEAK!!

What is up with this crummy weather?? Well, I don't
know about you, but shopping always makes me feel better!!
So come to Sumner for twice the fun!
Amy & I are moving into our new spaces at
New England Saltbox - just down the street from
Kristi's Country Store. So now when you visit Sumner
you have to stop by BOTH spots to see all our treasures!
